Dominion Nation Overview
Dominion Nation is a prophetic training center created to equip, activate, and send believers into their God-given assignments—spiritually mature, bold in identity, and built to lead.
Our Founder's Vision
We envision a world where Spirit-led believers are healed, trained, and released—bringing Kingdom transformation to both sacred and secular spaces with unapologetic purpose.
What Sets Us Apart
Get equipped for your unique assignment. We’re not just a ministry—we’re a movement. At Dominion Nation, we train the whole person: spirit, soul, and strategy. We call out the gift, stretch the vessel, and release the builder.
Core Values
Spirit-led
We follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in everything—our instruction, our timing, our direction, and our discernment—because oil without obedience doesn’t last.
Integrity
We steward the call with character, honoring God privately and publicly—because who we are behind the scenes matters more than any platform we stand on.
Excellence
We serve, lead, and create with intentionality and order—offering God our best, not our leftovers. Excellence is not perfection; it's stewardship.
Collaboration
We don’t build in silos. We believe Kingdom work happens in community—with honor, humility, and a shared commitment to see each other win.
Not Just a Vision—A Movement
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV)
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.
Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV)
Founder - Johnathan Howell Sr.
Johnathan Howell, Sr., is an ordained minister, pastor, and apostle deeply committed to prophetic ministry, worship, and compassionate care. At just 16 years old, Johnathan experienced salvation at New Creation Church of the Apostolic Faith in Detroit, MI, igniting a lifelong passion for ministry and spiritual leadership. A graduate of Central High School in Detroit, Johnathan demonstrated his commitment early on, serving his church in music ministry from the age of 12 as a drummer and transitioning to keyboards at 17.
Feeling a distinct calling to ministry through music, Johnathan has faithfully served in music and ministry roles across various congregations within the Metro Detroit area for over two decades. His dynamic and heartfelt worship style has become an integral part of his ministry, impacting numerous lives.
Johnathan’s prophetic journey was significantly influenced by his spiritual leader, Apostle Greg Davis of Kingdom Authority Ministry, who introduced and mentored him in prophetic ministry. Further cultivating his gifts, Johnathan faithfully served as the Executive Pastor at Victory Nation Church under Pastor and Spiritual Leader, Apostle Clarence Hawkins, III. Here, he gained invaluable experience in pastoral care, administrative leadership, and prophetic ministry.
In addition to his spiritual calling, Johnathan is a dedicated nurse, a role that profoundly enhances his capacity for compassion, empathy, and holistic care.
In 2008, Johnathan met Erika at New Breed Christian Church, where they both passionately served in music ministry. Their shared commitment to faith and service blossomed into a relationship that began in 2009, culminating in their marriage in 2011. Together, Johnathan and Erika are the proud parents of two remarkable sons, Johnathan II, age 14, and Jeremiah, age 9.
Responding to a prophetic call from God, Johnathan founded Dominion Nation Training Center in Wayne, MI, in 2025, after recognizing a significant gap in training for individuals gifted in prophetic ministries. Through his visionary leadership, Dominion Nation Training Center aims to equip and empower those called to prophetic ministry, helping local churches strengthen their spiritual foundations. Johnathan’s prayer and purpose are clear: to nurture confident, accurate, and skilled individuals who can effectively operate in their God-given gifts, thereby enriching their local assemblies and communities.

Co-Founder - Erika Howell
Erika Howell is an ordained minister, pastor, and prophetess, deeply committed to ministry, worship, and community leadership. Receiving salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit at just six years old at Word of Faith International Christian Center, Erika immediately embraced a life of service. Her early ministry experience included participation in children’s church praise teams and usher boards, cultivating a strong foundation in faith and worship.
As Erika transitioned to Glory Phi God Youth Ministry, she became firmly grounded in biblical principles and actively participated in various ministries, including the worship team, choir, dance, and drama departments. After graduating from Communication and Media Arts High School in Detroit, Erika furthered her education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and later completing a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). She actively served in campus ministry, choir, and Alpha Omega Co-ed Christian Fraternity. Through her involvement with Alpha Omega, Erika deepened her understanding of spiritual gifts and prophetic ministry, learning how to identify and activate these gifts effectively.
Erika joined New Breed Christian Church, where she became a licensed minister and met her future husband, Johnathan Howell, Sr. Their mutual passion for worship and ministry led to their marriage in 2011, and together they joyfully parent two exceptional sons, Johnathan II, age 14, and Jeremiah, age 9.
Throughout her journey, Erika has consistently led choirs and praise teams across the Metro Detroit area, blending musical excellence with spiritual sensitivity. Her administrative gifts have also made significant impacts in local ministries, notably as the Creative Director at Impact Church Metro Detroit.
Today, alongside her husband, Erika serves passionately as an ordained minister, pastor, and prophetess at Dominion Nation Training Center in Wayne, MI. Dominion Nation Training Center is dedicated to equipping and empowering individuals called to prophetic ministry by providing comprehensive training and spiritual guidance. Erika‘s mission and vision are to see believers confidently and effectively operate in their spiritual gifts, strengthening local church communities and advancing the Kingdom of God through focused, impactful ministry.
